This study, conducted in collaboration with the NS-PARK network, was a French, multicenter, parallel-group, two-arm, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, Phase II proof-of-concept (POC) clinical trial sponsored by the Toulouse University Hospital. This randomized, double-blind clinical trial was designed to evaluate the effects of lixisenatide, compared with placebo, on the motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease in patients with early-stage disease.
