19th EPICLIN Congress 2025

📢 Today, we’re heading to Bordeaux for the 19th EPICLIN Congress 2025, the must-attend event for professionals in epidemiology and clinical research.

Until Friday, this event—co-organized by Laura Richert and Carine Bellera—brings together researchers, methodologists, biostatisticians, and key players in clinical research for three days of rich discussions, workshops, and scientific presentations.

This year’s program highlights innovative work in methodology, statistics, and decarbonization in  clinical research.

🎤 Today, we had the pleasure of attending several EUCLID presentations, including:

🍃 A presentation on decarbonization in clinical research:
“Estimating the carbon footprint of academic clinical trials: a feasibility study and adaptation of a UK tool to the French context”, by Cédrick Wallet.

📊 Two poster presentations on the PREVAC research project:

  • “Impact of vaccination time on immune response to Ebola virus disease vaccines: a modeling study based on the randomized PREVAC trial”, by Ange-marie Daniela Gouna.

  • “Change in antibody assay method for the primary endpoint during a vaccine clinical trial: conversion between Fang and Luminex techniques in the phase II PREVAC vaccine trial”, by Safaa Ben Farhat.

👉 A unique opportunity to share best practices, discover the latest advances, and strengthen our network around collaborative projects!
